SCIENTISTS have invented the world's first self-disinfecting chicken.
The birds are given feed containing an enzyme which kills the food poisoning bug campylobacter found in most poultry, and still present in meat not properly cooked.
The research team at Bristol Uni told New Scientist that all companies should use this technique. If they do I don't want any thanks -- until it's been tried out on human guinea pigs.
