PUBLIC reaction to Leisure Parc's Las Vegas vision for Blackpool will soon be revealed as the consultation campaign, named Let's Talk, draws to a close.
A working party of the members of the private and public sectors has been meeting with community groups, more then 600 people chosen at random have been canvassed by telephone, and a questionnaire has been filled in by more than 500 town centre businesses.
Alan Cavill of Blackpool Challenge Partnership, which organised the biggest discussion exercise the town has ever seen, said: "We have said from the outset we wanted to listen to the true voice of Blackpool. Now it is only a matter of time before we will hear what that voice is saying loud and clear."
Blackpool Council's chief executive, Graham Essex-Crosby, who is leading the working group of BCP directors, said: "I would like to assure everybody that this does not mean the end of the Let's Talk campaign.
"There are still plenty of meetings lined up but we are at the stage where we will be able to provide some indication as to the general tide of public opinion."
Mr Essex-Crosby also revealed the findings would be announced before Easter.
