A BACUP man who broke a court's tagging order four times during the festive period could be heading to jail following his appearance before Rochdale magistrates.
Steven Edwards, 18, of Cutler Crescent, Stacksteads, Bacup, admitted breaching a curfew order imposed last November for offences of vehicle interference.
For a period of three months he was supposed to stay indoors between 8pm and 6am daily but on four occasions during the festive period went "awol," once to attend a birthday party.
His lawyer, Mr David Chad, said Edwards could give no appropriate explanation and his behaviour could not be condoned although the total absence without leave was just seven hours in what was a three month seven day a week curfew.
The magistrates took a dim view and ordered pre sentence reports with all options, including imprisonment, to be taken into consideration. Edwards, who was granted bail, will appear back in court for sentencing on April 23.
