LEIGH RMI U15s sealed a Jubilee Cup Semi-Final meeting with big rivals Hindsford with Priest, Aldred and Crisculo goals securing a 3-1 victory over Litchfield.
RMI's U13s battled back from 3-1 down at half time to earn themselves a point in a 3-3 draw at Hawkley. The hero was Michael Edwards who netted a hat-trick as the team went into third spot in the Wigan Youth League.
Yet again the U9s squandered an early lead in a 2-1 defeat at Bolton County Ghurkas, man of the match Joshua Hall having given the young Railwaymen a one goal cushion by the interval.
The U12s earned a precious point in the fight to avoid relegation in a 0-0 draw. Man of the match was sweeper Jonathan Matthews. With only three games left the goalscoring vein of early season needs to be rediscovered to make the most of the hard work being put in by the young lads.
The U11s experienced the heartbreak of a last minute deflected shot condemning them to a 3-2 defeat by Oxford Grove. Goals came from Liam O'Donnell and Danny Edwards with Chris Young named as star performer.
