Darwen Cricket Club Senior outdoor nets will start on Tuesday, April 3. The nets will take place at the Birch Hall ground at 6.15pm.
Darwen run two teams in the Northern League and two in the Chorley and District League on Saturdays together with a Sunday team in the North East Lancs League.
The first team won the Northern League in 2000 and were runners-up in 2001 and they are looking forward to welcoming Keith Semple back as pro for his second season.
Club captain Jeff Hacking said that the club is always looking to strengthen its squad and would like to hear from anyone, at whatever standard, who would like to join one of the teams.
Anyone interested should either turn up to the first net or contact Graham Ainslie on 01254 707689 or email gainlied@aol.com
