THE first floor of a converted barn, used to stable horses, was destroyed when a blaze tore through the building.
The owners of Woodhey Farm in Holcombe Brook, Bury, raced to free several horses from the stable before firefighters arrived.
Children playing with matches are being blamed for the blaze which started at around 1pm yesterday.
