TALKING TACTICS:
Burnley never got to grips with Rovers in midfield where Garry Flitcroft and David Dunn had a field day in the engine room. The Clarets defence was simply overpowered by runners from midfield who poured forward at every opportunity
TURNING POINT:
Craig Short's opener on 14 minutes. Burnley had to score first to stand any chance of a result but they failed to close down David Dunn on the edge of the box and paid a heavy price
SET PIECE WATCH:
Rovers defended corners magnificently when faced with the aerial threat of Gareth Taylor. Burnley, on the other hand, didn't close down Dunn when Alan Mahon's flagkick was only half cleared and it ended up costing them dearly
