A REFEREE who took no account of the treacherous conditions at Oldham's Boundary Park spoiled a game in which both the home side and visitors Bury had a player sent off.
Bury's assistant manager Steve Redmond was the first to go for a foul on Paul Allott followed a few minutes later by Latics' Paul Innes for a second yellow card.
Bury's new heroes, Jon Newby and Colin Cramb, combined well for Cramb to open the scoring early in the second half, but then Bury had to defend well to keep the home side at bay.
Then in the eighth minute of time added on Matthew Tipton broke Shakers hearts with an unstoppable shot to level the scores.
