A HINDLEY primary school is one of 39 in the borough to be rewarded with a School Achievement Award from the Government.
All Saints C of E Primary School is to receive an excellence award, given to schools where pupil performance in the Year 2000 was better than most schools in similar circumstances. The awards are based on ranking school's summer 2000 Key Stage test or GCSE/GNVQ results, allowing for socio-economic differences in schools' intakes, such as the proportion of pupils eligible for free school meals.
