THE Next Generation Club proved a hit with the next generation from a Blackburn school's sixth form.
Ten girls from Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Blackburn, paid a visit to the Next Generation health and fitness club in Chorley with one of their PE teachers, Emma Kay.
The girls tried out the fitness suite and gym, played badminton and squash and even attempted the man-made rock face before cooling off with a dip in the pool and a jacuzzi.
Teacher Emma joined QEGS earlier this year as the independent school prepares to admit female students aged seven and upwards for the first time this year.
Vicky Hilton, business manager at Next Generation, said the club was offering arange of special promotions to give young people and families the chance to try them out.
She added: "The girls found you can have lots of fun while improving your health and fitness at the same time."
