Atherton Colls face a major test tonight with title chasers and FA Vase semi finalists Clitheroe the visitors to Alder House.
Saturday's fixture at Prescot Cables was another game to fall foul of the weather but that could have been good news for management duo Dennis Haslam and Tommy Foster. Five key players would have missed that trip to one of the top scoring teams in the division and four of them could come back into contention for tonight's game. Paul Griffin and Paul Vandenberg are definitely available, full back Anthony Smith has now served out the seven days precautionary rest after being concussed and striker Ian Gibson is on the mend with his thigh injury. Carlos Meakin could be out for a further two to three weeks with chicken pox.
