FOOT and mouth restrictions have prevented two sisters and a brother from searching farmland for their missing pet.
The Glover youngsters, Nicola, 19, Michaela, 13, and Stinton, eight, have had the dog from being a very young puppy and have offered a reward for its return.
Tilly, a seven-month-old Yorkie/terrier cross, went missing from a yard at their home in Foxstones Lane, Cliviger, last Monday.
Nicola said: "We all miss her but Stinton is particularly upset, he loves her to death."
Michaela said: "Tilly sleeps on our beds, she is a lovely pet."
Nicola added: "She normally does not leave the big yard. She went missing at about 4.30pm on Monday. One minute she was there and then she was missing.
"We ran down the lane shouting for her but could not find her. We could not go on to the surrounding farmland because of the foot and mouth situation."
She described Tilly as a sandy brown colour with a white chest and nose and very small. She was wearing a brown collar with silver studs.
Anyone who has found Tilly or who knows her whereabouts is asked to contact the family on 07887694856.
