A CLITHEROE club for the over 55s aims to bring members up to date with modern technology by introducing them to the world of computers.
The Pendle Club, already well known in the town for its weekly lunches, as well as more lively pastimes such as snooker, line dancing, keep fit, bridge and solo whist, is organising a Computers for the Terrified course which will begin after Easter.
The club is hoping also to dispel rumours that the organisation has closed after its waste collection service, which had run for more than 40 years, had to end through lack of help.
Around 350 members who attend the club regularly, helped with things like transport from a band of willing helpers from other organisations in the town.
