STACKSTEADS based photographer Les Meehan has had his first book published and it is soon to be launched in America.
Les, 45, a professional photographer for 20 years has written: Creative Exposure Control, a practical guide to perfect exposures.
Les said: "It is fully illustrated with colour and back and white photos and contains lots of practical tasks to help the reader master various techniques. It is aimed at the enthusiast, both professional and amateur."
The book was recently launched in London by The Camera Club and is also to be published in America. Eventually it will be printed in five languages.
It is published in hardback and costs £17.99.
Les had a studio in London for ten years and worked for various national magazines including Ideal Home.
He has been a professional photographer for 20 years and specialises in photography workshops, writing and lecturing.
For relaxation Les is a black belt in Taw Kwon Do, a recently recognised Olympic sport.
He has already started on his next book on digital imaging.
