DETECTIVES are hunting a robber who smashed a window at a petrol station and stole cash from the counter.
Two cashiers were working at the Grimshaw Park Service Station, Blackburn, at about 2.40am yesterday when the man approached the shop, smashed the security glass and grabbed a small amount of cash.
He was white, in his mid 20s, about 5ft 11ins tall, wearing a beige three-quarter length jacket with a hood and blue jeans.
Police said the robber cut himself when he smashed the glass of the window.
They are appealing for anyone with information to call them at Blackburn CID on 01254 353569 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
