YEAR 11 GNVQ students from a Blackburn high school have come together to plan an egg-citing activity for younger pupils tomorrow.
The Queen's Park Community Technology College, in Shadsworth Road, Blackburn, will hold a spring egg-stravaganza as part of their leisure and tourism GNVQ. The course involves the students planning an event for other pupils.
Among the activities being lined up for the day is a Great Egg Hunt around the school site, while younger pupils in Year Seven are currently decorating Easter cards and Easter eggs. A school spokesman said: "Each member of the Year 11 team has had a role to play, right down to the preparation of press releases to inform people of what is going on.
"It will be enjoyable for our younger pupils and also ensure the older ones gain experience from organising such an event."
