DAVID DUNN COLUMN I'VE ALWAYS known we've got a few jokers in the dressing room down at Ewood.

But whichever wiseguy put that kipper under my pillow in London last week had better watch their back because I'm after revenge.

It's pay back time. They won't know when I'll strike or where.

But let me assure you all I'm currently hatching a plan which will be bigger, better and more sophisicated than anything involving Captain Birdseye.

I've narrowed it down to three suspects -- Garry Flitcroft (alias Chesney Hawks), Craig Short (aka Ted Danson) and Bomber, the club masseur Colin Lancaster.

Let me tell you exactly what happened and you can draw your own conclusions as to who stitched me up.

Me, Flitty, Shorty, Bomber and Craig Hignett were all watching Preston against Burnley last Friday night in mine and Higgy's room.

It was only when they disappeared later on that I suddenly noticed a rather fishy smell.

Higgy claimed he couldn't smell anything but after I turned the room upside I eventually found the offending article hidden under my pillow.

Everyone I asked about it claimed they'd never seen it before but I'm positive it can only be one of three people.

To make matters worse, it then turned up again under the sole in one of my trainers the next morning.

And, though I've been scrubbing them all week, they still stink like Fleetwood front.

So when I get my revenge, I'm going to make sure I do the job properly. It's all about the element of surprise but I'm not getting mad -- I'm just going to get even.

Having said all that, if there's a moral to this story then it's the fact the team spirit is so good at the club these days, I could literally suspect everyone.

There's no cliques at all and the young players mix just as freely with the older guys.

As regards matters on the pitch, Wednesday night's result against Fulham was a big disappointment.

I felt we deserved all three points so to come out of it with nothing at all was a real kick in the teeth. But that's gone now and we can only look forward.

The Easter period is always a decisive period for clubs going for promotion and I believe we need six points from our next two games.

Stockport will be fired up this afternoon so we've got to match them physically and then hope our superior ability will shine through.

And it's going to be the same sort of scenario against Huddersfield on Monday.

But if we can get two wins then the Premiership could be within touching distance this time next week.

I've already booked my holidays this summer and I don't want to have to cancel them because of the play-offs.
