CHILDREN at a special school in Nelson will be getting some new toys next week from generous traders at Nelson's indoor market.
The stallholders at the Admiral's Market Place will deliver the gifts to Town House School, in Town House Road, on Monday.
A promotional event during Great British Markets' Week last year, in which traders raised £140 by selling tickets to win a Smart Car, paid for the assortment of toys which were chosen by the school.
Iain Wharton, manager of the market place, said: "Traders were aware of the good work that the school does and wanted to help in a small way. We contacted the school and they suggested various toys for their two to five-year-old children."
