ON her return from a week in a secret location, Big Brother hopeful Anne Edgar was amazed at the response she received.
The Nelson gran flew back to Manchester on Saturday accompanied by her own personal minder and was instantly recognised by a member of the public.
Anne, who was one of three contestants being voted for by the public, said: "It's been amazing.
"People have been saying 'Are you Anne from Big Brother?' and others have been pointing at me. I didn't know anything about all the hype.
"When I switched my mobile phone on at the airport I had about 11 calls within ten minutes, 15 messages and I don't know how many missed calls."
She and the other two contestants, Josh -- who will go in to the house on Friday -- and Natasha, agreed that the two who did not get chosen would be there when the other one left the house.
She said: "Any of us could have gone in to that house. We all had similar personalities and were all outgoing. I'm keeping in touch with Natasha.
"We are both rooting for Josh to win now. I'm sure he will fit in well."
