MEMBERS of the 1st Clayton-le-Moors Scouts are preparing for Thursday's elections with a bit of house-keeping.
Their unit is being used as a polling station and the building is being spruced up as the lads brush up on their skills for the recently introduced Bounty Home Help badge.
A survey has shown that helping around the home is low on the list of priorities for today's youngsters and the badge is designed to encourage Cub Scouts to learn the basics.
Pack leader Jennifer Burrows, said polling day had provided the incentive for a 'Spring' clean. "It gives the Cubs a chance to improve their skills before they go for the new badge," she said.
