YOUNGSTERS from two Darwen churches joined forces to present a half term puppet show for the rest of the congregation.
Sunday school children from Bolton Road United Reformed Church and Springvale Methodist Church met as part of the ongoing development of the Darwen Partnership of Churches.
The puppets, which were all hand made, showed the three different faces of God, expressed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as well as a fourth as a musical clown which represented the church with its joy and celebration of God's love.
Sunday school teacher Simon Huggill said: "The children proved the value of partnership and co-operation by their willingness to mix and work together."
