TYLDESLEY Probus Club heard about new plans for Salford Museum and Art Gallery at its last meeting.
Gallery representative Ann Monaghan told members museum staff are building a new visitor experience, following the transfer of the L S Lowry paintings to The Lowry. It will depict life in Salford and district over the past 200 years and will open in 2003. On June 7, Mrs Gilbertson will speak on "Cotton Queens".
