A KARATE expert will lead a special training session in memory of a Leigh black belt who died in March after a brave fight against cancer.
Following the death of Sean Slater, who died earlier this year from cancer of the spleen and liver, martial arts master Sensei Billy Higgins is leading the session to raise funds for the liver trust at Birmingham hospital. Sean's family and friends have already raised £1,000 in his memory for the trust.
The session is being held on Saturday, September 22, from 1pm-2.30pm at Golborne High School, Lowton Road, Golborne.
Admission is £5 for seniors and £4 for juniors.
