TOBY Bulcock has taken the first steps on the road to Cricket stardom after he was selected for Lancashire Under 11's.
The 10-year-old, who plays for Baxenden, went through four rigorous trials but made it to the final 22 and received a letter last week to say he was in.
The left arm spinner already plays for Baxenden Under 11s, Under 13s and the third team and will now be tested in the colours of the Red Rose county.
He's already had a taste of Old Trafford when Baxenden, along with eight other teams from the Ribbesdale League, took part in a Kwik Cricket demonstration there last Friday on the second day of the Test match between England and Pakistan.
