THE case against two youths charged with arson after a rural primary school was burnt to the ground has been adjourned until Monday July 2 by Chorley magistrates.
Two million pounds-worth of damage was caused after the incident at Brindle Gregson Lane Primary School, in Hoghton, which happened about 3am on Saturday, May 12.
The youngsters, aged 13 and 14, both from the Hoghton area, appeared in court yesterday and were given residential and curfew bail, which prohibits them from being out of their homes between 9pm and 7pm unless accompanied by an adult.
