THE Out of School Experience Club in Blackburn has won a "Spring Greens" award worth £200.
The cash was handed out by the Nescafe Kids' Clubs Challenge -- a partnership between Nescafe and the Kids' Clubs Network, which aims to award a grant to a children's club every day until the end of this year.
After the wettest winter on record, the Kids' Club Challenge invited youngsters to submit ideas for "Spring Greens" grants to support local environment projects that would help children get out-and-about again.
The Out of School Experience Club's project for Duke's Brow was among 55 chosen for the imaginative way in which they would involve children and their community, whilst also enhancing the environment around the club.
