ONE hundred children from Casterton County Primary School, Burnley, took up the reins when Trigger the mechanical cantering horse paid a visit.

Trigger was accompanied by an expert riding instructor from Herd House Riding Centre, Briercliffe, as part of the Jeep-sponsored National Riding Festival.

As well as riding Trigger the youngsters took part in other equestrian related activities including rosette making and equestrian road safety.
