COLLEAGUES from Burnley's Asda store will be banged to rights next week when they go behind bars ... for charity!
Gill Lingard, Fiona Burns and Lia Leone have agreed to be locked up in the cells of Padiham Police Station to help raise money for an anti-bullying campaign being run by the charity NCH Action for Children.
All three are mums and their children have all suffered bullying or intimidation and so raising money for the charity is close to their hearts.
One of their daughters was picked upon by older boys from a secondary school who threw school bags at her and then started spitting at her. Her mum now collects her every day from school.
But she said when the schools were informed of the problems both took action and the boys, who admitted their actions, were made to apologise.
Mother-of-three Gill, 34, from Burnley, is events co-ordinator at the store.
