POTENTIALLY lethal drugs were stolen during a night of crime in the village of Bolton-le-Sands.
Thieves hit seven houses or cars in the Slyne Road and Broadlands Drive area, while a car was broken into in nearby Hest Bank.
Police say Severdol-morphine tablets in 10mg (with green tablets) and 20mg (with pink tablets) packets and 12 Donperidone anti-sickness pills, in a silver foil, could prove fatal.
Thieves hit the village on Sunday night. As well as the drugs, they took more than £1,000 worth of cash electrical equipment and other property from homes and vehicles.
They also took a quantity of Murad cosmetics, imported from the USA, from a car on Slyne Road.
Det Sgt Mark Salisbury said: "Obviously, we believe that these offences are clearly linked."
