A CHARITY Funday, with family entertainment cowboy-style is being held at Morrisons store in Boundary Road, on Sunday, June 24.
Centre of attention at the cowboy and indian themed extravaganza will be a nine-foot inflatable cowboy. Members of staff will be taking it in turn to wear the enormous inflatable costume and they'll be encouraging the shoppers to join them in the fun and games.
From a bouncy castle to keep energetic youngsters amused, to face-painting for the more artistic, the non-stop entertainment will include something for everyone.
It's not just for the children though. The chance to win a fabulous top-of-the-range car or a holiday abroad in the Grand Charity Raffle is sure to bring a smile to the face of any adult. Morrisons is offering top prizes of a VW Beetle, Ford KA, Toyota Yaris and Smart car. Runner-up prizes include widescreen TVs, £6,000 worth of holiday vouchers, flying lessons, weekend breaks abroad, and Sony Play Stations.
Store General Manager, Jim Toohey, said: "We've already had great fun organising the Charity Funday, and the laughs don't stop now. Shoppers are in for some real fun and games this Sunday and all in aid of a good cause".
All proceeds from the event, which is being repeated at more than 100 other Morrisons stores throughout the country, will be donated to Save the Children, the company's chosen charity for the year 2001.
