A SEA Cadet Instructor has been awarded a prestigious medal after giving 12 years of service to their youth organisations.
Petty Officer Ann Rogerson, of the Blackburn Sea Cadets, Whitebirk, is nicknamed "the social worker" because of the way she mothers young recruits.
She has been committed to the association since New Year's Day 1989 and has held a variety of positions.
