BURY Hospice has launched an appeal for current and pre-decimal coins and notes, along with any foreign currency.
Organisers believe there could be thousands of such items lying unwanted or forgotten in local homes and they could be of great value to the ongoing Bury Hospice appeal.
Any of these can be handed over at the Hospice on Dumers Lane, Radcliffe or at their shop on The Rock, Bury, Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 4pm. Collecting boxes in pubs, shops and offices may also be used.
