A MODEL giving a bird's eye view of the Accrington Road Area of Burnley will be on show at an event to encourage residents to suggest ways to develop their area.
Burnley's Community Alliance is organising the local planning in action event in a marquee at Stoops and Hargher Clough Recreation Ground and Community Centre on June 30 from 10am.
The model had been made by pupils from Hargher Clough Junior School.
Maureen Craig, a resident of the area and a member of the community alliance, said: "I strongly encourage people who live in the area to come along as this is a real chance to make a difference to their community."
The event will feature live music, stage entertainers, a dance demonstration, photographic exhibition, children's sports, circus skills and much more.
The fund day has been organised to give local people a chance to help design the future for the Accrington Road area which recently secured Government funding.
