ALBINO ferrets don't have good eyesight or inbuilt road sense, so it was fortunate a good Samaritan came along to help Horace the hob cross a busy main road.
The escapee couldn't have picked a better spot to cross Elliott Street in Tyldesley, right outside the town's "animal hospital" alongside the Market Square.
Staff at Tyldesley Veterinary Centre gave him temporary accommodation and a good delousing before his grateful owner called to collect him.
