A WOMAN who rarely drank choked when she swallowed her own vomit after a night out with her husband, an inquest was told.
Georgina Mifsud, aged 40, of Diamond Street, Leigh, had been out with her husband Dominic on December 28, but had not eaten much during the evening.
She drank heavily and needed help to get into bed, where she was later found dead.
The toxicology report revealed her blood contained three-and-a-half times the legal drink-drive limit.
Coroner Aidan Cotter recorded a verdict of accidental death and said: "Mrs Mifsud was not used to alcohol, had too much and it killed her."
