WORKERS at a brassware company in Leigh are celebrating the firm's tenth anniversary.
The Deva Tap Company has become the UK's largest company of its type over the past decade, and it now employs 120 staff in Leigh.
Employees at the firm in Brooklands Mill, on the Leeds-Liverpool canal, have often been treated to surprises: when the firm turned over £1 million in a month, the whole workforce was taken to Blackpool for a weekend. The company is growing at a rate of 15 per cent a year.
Peter Geoghegan, the firm's MD, said: "It's quite an achievement to attain the kind of growth we have in ten years. I sincerely hope to have the same people working with me when we celebrate the next ten years."
