POLICE officers have raised £3,000 to help research cancer in men.
The cheque will be handed over at the Lancashire Police HQ at Hutton next Friday..
The Lancashire Police Federation Constables Branch Board raised the money for the Cancer Research Campaign -- which funds scientists to work with men's cancers such as prostate and testicular.
PC Peter Hayhurst said: "Men should keep a check on their health and not be reluctant to seek help from a doctor, as it might well save their live."
