RECREATION chiefs are hoping young people will get right behind this year's summer holiday leisure programme -- and give themselves the chance of winning a new mountain bike in the process.
Pendle Leisure -- which took over the council's recreation centres last year -- has introduced the "Stamp It For Summer " scheme aimed at attracting more visitors to the area.
During the holiday period every activity booked, including swimming, golfing, snorkelling, soccer, hockey and many other sessions, will attract one stamp.
Anyone who collects five stamps will then be awarded a free swim and the chance to win the cycle.
The competition will run from July 9th to August 10 and is open to all children under 16.
