LANCASHIRE crashed through the £1 million barrier with their international double at Old Trafford during the last month to leave their critics with egg on their face.
A total attendance of 63,504 at the npower Test Match between England and Pakistan produced revenue of £644,870.
And with the full house for the floodlit NatWest one-dayer against Australia raising a further £494,090, Lancashire were almost 20 per cent ahead of their budget.
It was a timely success for Lancashire with some suggestions that they could lose future Test Matches to the Riverside ground in Durham.
