IT was business as usual today for a Colne felt manufacturing business despite the offices being badly damaged by fire yesterday.
Firefighters spent more than four hours tackling a fire in part of Janesville Products, Spring Gardens Mill, Spring Gardens Road.
The mill is owned LVS Polythene and firefighters from Colne and Nelson were called to the premises at 4.20pm.
General Manager for Janesville Martin Spiers said: "There is some damage to the office block and some laboratory equipment has been damaged, but it is business as usual.
"Our back-up systems ate working and everybody is working today as normal."
He said children were believed responsible for starting the fire.
