PAUL Tilbury returned from his wedding to help Earby to victory in their Jennings Ramsbottom Cup.
The Applegarth side were struggling after losing early wickets against Padiham but Tilbury, who was married the previous day, smashed an impressive 46 to get his side's innings back on track.
Padiham had earlier set a target of 165 and Earby opener Stephen Pickles batted through most of the reply for 58, Andrew Jaggers completed Earby's victory with four balls to spare, hitting a mighty six into Arbories Lane.
Barnoldswick skipper Michael Scothern completed an impressive weekend by leading his side to victory over Settle. He scored 75 and was backed up by Matthew Plant with 67 not out as they scored 196-4.
Scothern then took 5-15 as Settle were dismissed for 83.
Ribblesdale Wanderers' professional Shahid Nawaz scored 121 not out with John Raine adding 70 in their total of 268-4.
Whalley struggled in reply and were dismissed for 124.
Great Harwood secured a seven wicket victory over Clitheroe who were dismissed for 122 with Lee Dobson taking 4-34.
In the league Michael Scothern claimed a hat trick including Padiham's professional Faheem Fazal to finish with six wickets as the home side were bowled out for 101.
Barnoldswick secured a six wicket win.
Top club Read maintained their successful record with victory over Great Harwood. Akram Raza rattled up 87 for Read with Nick Marsh adding 44.
Harwood found the total too much despite a knock of 62 from professional Farhan Adil with Warren Eastham taking 5-52.
Second placed Cherry Tree secured a run rate victory over Whalley after scoring 168-7. Whalley were 136-9 at the close of play.
Oswaldtwistle professional Will Carr took 5-52 as Blackburn Northern were dismissed for 195 but Oswaldtwistle struggled in reply and were back in the pavilion for 98 with Blackburn pro Ata-ur-Rehman taking 7-40.
Earby secured victory over Ribblesdale Wanderers with Chris Walton leading their batting attack on 47. Steve Rushton hammered 36 in 33 balls as they reached 192-6. Wanderers were dismissed for 121.
Settle professional Stewart Hornby took 6-77 as Baxenden were dismissed for 141 but the Dales club were dismissed for 94 with Liam Bones taking 8-36.
