TICKETS for an amateur production not on stage until August have already gone on sale because the society is expecting packed houses.
When Did You Last See Your Trousers? by John Antrobus and Ray Galton, of Steptoe fame, will be at Pendle Hippodrome in Colne, from August 8 and 11.
Colne Dramatic Society has been celebrating its 75th anniversary year with a host of different activities alongside its usual four main productions.
Over the years the society has never missed staging a production -- even during the war years.
And the farce to be staged in August should be a popular choice which is why the decision was made to switch it from the CDS's home in the Little Theatre, River Street, Colne, with just 72-seats to the hippodrome.
Tickets are £5 adults, £4 concessions and can be booked by contacting 01282 861424 or sending a cheque to Colne Dramatic Society to 102 Knotts Lane, Colne BB8 8AE and include a stamped addressed envelope for tickets to be returned.
