THE inaugural North West Business Lecture will be delivered by Bryan Gray, deputy chairman of Bamber Bridge-based Baxi Group.
The event is hosted by the business support agency Nimtech and will take place at Preston North End on July 6 as part of the DTI's Celebration of Innovation Week.
Lord Wade, chairman of Nimtech, said: "The aim of the North West Business Lecture is to provide a prominent and successful business figure with the opportunity to present his or her thoughts on the real issues facing companies today.
"It will be of relevance to companies of all sizes together with the region's many intermediary and statutory organisations that work closely with industry and commerce."
Mr Gray, who is also chairman of the CBI in the North West, will be speaking about young people not choosing a career in the manufacturing industry.
