AN unexpected wedding guest helped to make a couple's big day 'cushdy'.
Del Boy, from TV's Only Fools and Horses gatecrashed Nigel Smith and Emma Jane Thornton's wedding at Hazlewood Castle, Leeds.
Nigel who runs the Feildens restaurant, Mellor, has made many celebrity friends during his career as a chef, which began at London's Savoy Hotel.
But those who were guests at his wedding were well and truly put in the shade by the antics of a cheeky cockney.
Derek Trotter, aka look-alike Maurice Canham, tried to sell guests watches from his brown camel overcoat and even sneaked onto the wedding photos alongside the couple in formal dress.
The 'East End' influenced festivities ended with the service of fish and chips at the night-do.
The best man had booked the Del lookalike without telling the couple.
Nigel said: "I got the shock of my life when I first saw him, he was brilliant but thank God he didn't arrive in the Trotters' van.
