ACCRINGTON Stanley are giving a trial to 6ft striker Tom Beech.
And they are also looking at three players released by Nationwide Second and Third Division clubs and will be seeing if they fit the bill over the next week after pre season training started last night.
Stanley are hoping they can unearth a gem in Beech who lists a trial at Paris St Germain on his CV.
Beech, in his early 20's, was an associated schoolboy with Chelsea and also had a trial at Nottingham Forest and in France in 1998 before he became a prolific striker in the non leagues.
He has played for Dr Marten's Premier League side Crawley Town and Ryman outfit Bromley.
He is moving north to begin a course at Salford University and has expressed a strong desire to play with the UniBond Premier Division side who are bidding to reach the Nationwide Conference this season.
If Beech does prove up to scratch, Stanley fans could get their first chance to see him when Bury's first team come to the Crown Ground on July 24.
