BURY Hospice has said a formal "thank you" to a group of girls at Bury Grammar School for their fund-raising efforts.
So far this year pupils of Year U4N have raised £271.69 for the cause. This week, Mr Mervyn Reeves, fund-raising manager for Bury Hospice, presented them with certificates of appreciation.
The girls raised the money by organising bun sales, raffles and filling Smartie tubes with loose change.
