A RADCLIFFE salon owner was left with a £100 bill after thieves broke into his wife's car and stole his baby's pram.
Jon Cooper, who runs Jon Cooper Hair in Ainsworth Road, found the window of his wife Vicky's Ford Fiesta smashed outside their home in Bolton.
The culprits had snatched the pram used for his 15-month-old son Joel.
He said: "It happened while we were both asleep. I don't know if the thieves took the pram to use or to sell. Since we moved into Millstone Road five years ago, we have had our cars broken into three times.
"It is pure vandalism, but we have just resigned ourselves to it. There doesn't really seem to be much we can do about it. We haven't reported it to the police or claimed on the insurance, as we would lose our no claims bonus. We are very annoyed. Who would stoop so low as to steal a baby's pram?
"We will have to replace the car window and buy another pram now. It seems as though we are just constantly paying out because of break-ins."
He added: "Perhaps the person responsible would like to call round for the matching rainhood? I wouldn't like the thought of their child getting wet!"
