MAVERICK soccer ace Stan Collymore could well be lining up at Christie Park next season.
Collymore, twice transferred for £8million plus, held talks with Boston United this week.
Before any deal is done however, the 'retired' star must settle a contract wrangle with his Spanish club, Real Oviedo.
Manager Steve Evans said this week: "We understand we will have to make Stan Collymore the highest paid player in non-League football history. I am certain we will get a deal."
Money appears to be no object for the Lincolnshire club at the moment, who will also boast the skills of Mike Marsh next term.
Collymore's former Liverpool team-mate Nigel Clough will also be in the area next season. He will bring his Burton Albion team to Giant Axe after they moved from the Doc Martens league, where they finished second last year.
The Midlands club are known as the Brewer's and the town is famous for its beer, which could make it an attractive away fixture for next term.
