THIEVES struck at what is meant to be one of Lancaster's most secure buildings last weekend.
A store room at the Shire Hall at Lancaster Castle was raided between 5pm on Friday and 10am on Monday.
Police believe a person who had been part of a tour of the castle may have dropped away from the group to commit the offence.
Taken were two Motorola radios and a mobile phone charger worth £210.
