THE Cystic Fibrosis Trust is looking for women to take part in the first Tesco Great North Women's Run and help find a cure for the disease. The event, on Sunday July 15, starts in Albert Square and follows a five-mile route through the streets of Manchester.
Participants will run alongside celebrities including former world champion Liz McColgan, Coronation Street's Naomi Russell - aka Bobby Lewis - and Brookside's Diane Murray (Bernie Nolan).
No running experience is necessary. For more information and a sponsorship pack, contact Susan Crossley on 01274 882898.
